About the Opportunity
Help steer the design direction of major Sydney projects while mentoring the next generation of landscape architects. As an Associate Landscape Architect at Arcadia, you will be a senior leader responsible for ensuring project efficiency, driving design excellence, and strengthening the firm's market profile.

A glimpse into your day
- Manage a variety of projects across various scales, ensuring they are completed strictly to budget and schedule.
- Lead and manage the design development process to maintain consistent design excellence across the studio.
- Oversee the production of high-quality deliverables, including site inspections, cost planning, and technical documentation.
- Drive business development by sourcing new work and drafting professional submissions for Principal authorisation.
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with new and existing clients to drive successful project outcomes.
- Provide dedicated people management by training, mentoring, and assessing the development of all team members.
- Handle essential project administration, including daily timesheets, invoicing support, and effective task delegation.
The expertise you’ll bring
- A Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or an equivalent skill set, such as Architecture with horticulture or ecology training.
- Extensive professional experience in landscape architecture with a proven track record in staff and project management.
- Expert-level technical skills regarding modern design and construction techniques and industry programs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of professionals.
- Strong time management and organisational skills to ensure projects align perfectly with scope and deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the professional maturity to advocate for the firm.
- A proactive approach to commercial outcomes, resourcing, and the continuous improvement of studio systems
